5 Ways You Can Save on Gas

Gas prices continue to rise, and more people are looking for ways to ease the pain at the pump. There are many different ways to save on gas, with some more feasible than others, but there are some steps you can take that doesn't involve the most drastic measures. Remember, even saving just a few miles per gallon can mean hundreds of dollars in savings over the course of a year. Here are five ideas that might be able to help save a few dollars on your next fill-up.

While the option of getting a hybrid is on the list, before you dismiss that option, consider the long-term benefits. There will probably be an initial cost, but your driving conditions may offset that sooner than you think. Of course, if you just recently purchased a vehicle and still carry an auto loan, you're probably better off working to maximize your mileage with what you have as opposed to getting something new.
