Learn How to Create a Budget

Thursday June 12, 2008
If you're like most people, creating a budget probably sounds about as fun as going to the dentist for a root canal. While it may not be the most exciting thing in the world to do, creating a budget doesn't take very long and it can have a significant impact on your financial future. Learn how to create a budget in a few easy steps.

Using a basic budget worksheet can help you organize and track your spending categories. Once you have everything laid out, it is easier to see where you can begin to make changes so that you can allocate more money to other things. Don't make budgeting harder than it has to be, so start with the major expenses first, and work your way into smaller expenses slowly.
