Earlier this year we heard about the new tax credit for new home purchases. In an effort to stimulate the housing market new home buyers are eligible to receive up to an $8,000 tax credit on a new home purchase. This is a significant incentive and if you happen to qualify and are looking to buy a home you certainly don't want to miss out. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and the tax credit is winding down. To qualify for the credit you must complete your purchase by November 30th. That's still a few months away, but keep in mind how long the home buying process can be. So, if you were still thinking about taking advantage of the credit you might want to get moving so that you can schedule your closing before the November 30th deadline. Learn more about the credit and see if you qualify.

Some say there may be another $8000 tax credit coming. Since the first one is about to run out it would be good if we see another. Any thoughts?
