Consolidate Student Loans Before Rates Increase

Interest rates on Stafford Loans are about to increase by a record amount. If you haven't already consolidated, you have until July 1st to lock in at historically low interest rates. After that date, rates will rise 1.93 percentage points, from to 3.375% to 4.7%. By consolidating now, you could save several thousand dollars. See MSNBC for details, and check out my Financial Aid Overview for more information on student loans.
